My radio career began in 1958 at WACK, Newark, New York while attending college at SUC at Brockport, New York where I earned a BS and MS in Education.
Upon entering the teaching field, I secured a part-time position with WROC AM FM TV, Rochester, New York.
While there, I did weekend radio shows as well as a Sunday morning children's show on TV.
After nine years at the station, my wife and I decided to go to The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan where we earned a doctorate in Administration and Supervision.
While there, I worked at a local radio station, WPAG, and became program director.
Upon graduation, my family and I moved to Buffalo when I was hired by Buffalo State College.
I also secured a part-time job with WADV FM. Throughout my time in Buffalo, I have worked at WBEN, 107.7 FM, WWKB, WECK, and, finally, WEBR.
