WEBR began as a locally owned and operated radio station and today 97 years later it returns to it's home town roots to again be locally owned and operated. Yuhnke says local ownership gives the station the ability to react quickly and directly with it's listeners. "We are here and we want to be close to and serve all our friends and neighborhoods across Niagara and Erie county". Listeners may be surprised to hear music they loved and enjoyed but has been missing on the radio. They may also be pleasantly surprised to hear popular live on-air personalities they know and love. Angelo explained that we will be the first radio station to regularly feature outstanding recordings by world class talent who call Western New York their home. In this new high tech age people are forced to pay to get the music they love. The new WEBR 1440 AM will provide the greatest music of all time by the greatest artists of all time along with the latest news, weather and information plus opinion and comments by your friends and neighbors FREE at home at work or in your car around the clock everyday of the year. In addition it will be available via wifi streaming on the world wide web or at WEBR1440.com. Join us in welcoming home WEBR "We Extend Buffalo Regards" to the people across the Niagara Frontier region including Southern Ontario..
