A father, son, grandfather, electrician, a councilman, a party leader, a mayor. Vince Anello has been in service to his family and his community, for his entire life. Ever since his family migrated to the United States in the early 50’s.
For the past several years, a radio talk show host, who always gave his opinion, like it or not, and always gave the listeners the opportunity to give their side of things.
Vince was always for the little guy, the ones who were
less fortunate and the ones who had struggles with their careers and life.
Vince, for some time now, has been struggling with cancer and on April 26th was admitted to Roswell Memorial Cancer Hospital for treatment. The cards and letters of encouragement that you, the listeners, sent to him over the
past many weeks, brought smiles to his face during his most difficult time.
Those cards and letters were very much appreciated and eased his struggle
somewhat. It was June 7th that Hospice was called in to aid Vince in preparation of what was Inevitable.
Vince passed away on June 8th, 2021, after a brave and prolonged struggle
with Cancer. The entire staff at WEBR mourns his passing and extends our deepest sympathies to Vince’s family, and to his dedicated listeners.
He will be sadly missed every morning at 11 am.
